3 Easy Creamy Salad Dressings

I do enjoy a naked salad but adding a splash of homemade dressing adds flavour and personality. Use those leftover glass jars or treat yourself to some pretty mason jars for storage and serving.

Honey Mustard Dressing / Dipping Sauce

[ Makes 1 cup ]

Ingredients

1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
Salt and Pepper to taste

Method

1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and process on medium until well combined (or whisk together in a bowl.
2. Taste and adjust honey, salt and pepper to your liking.
3. Store in a tightly sealed glass jar in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.


Options: If you like your dressing with a bit more heat, replace half the Dijon Mustard with Hot English Mustard.

Avocado Lime Dressing

[ Makes 1 1/2 cups ]

Ingredients

1 Avocado peeled, seeded and chopped
1/2 cup plain Greek Yogurt
1/3 cup Coriander
1/4 cup Fresh Lime Juice
1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Avocado Oil
2 cloves Crushed Garlic
Salt and pepper to taste

Method

1. Place avocado, yogurt, coriander, lime juice, oil and garlic into a food processor and pulse until smooth and creamy
2. Add salt and pepper to taste then pulse again to combine
3. Store in a tightly sealed glass jar in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Ranch Dressing

[ Makes 1 cup ]

Ingredients

1 cup plain Greek Yogurt
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Dried Dill
Salt and pepper to taste

Method

1. Stir yogurt, garlic powder, onion powder & dried dill together in a bowl then season to taste.
2. Store in a tightly sealed glass jar in the fridge for up to 1 week.
